Shadow Archer Press
Shadow Archer Press currently publishes cutting edge fiction, poetry, art books and Fissure Magazine. These collections may cross genre boundaries but include top-notch, tightly written experimental, goth, SF, dark fantasy, psychological thrillers, and hard to describe art and writing. We want works to awaken without resorting to shock value; disturb without excessive gore; arouse without resorting to pornography. Chapbooks of anthologies, short stories, novellas and poetry are currently in production.
As in the past, Shadow Archer Press publishes excellent works by distinct voices. Each of our books are limited edition numbered and autographed by both the author and cover artist.
From a meeting of minds that takes place at cafes, at nightclubs, in bookstores or over the internet to the solitude of back rooms with a hunched figure typing or drawing away, Shadow Archer Press launches its new line of chapbooks and artist portfolios. This press seeks a place in the small press world where both beginning and established writers can see their work published in a venue that strives for thought-provoking images and words, without compromising individuality. Our books don't fit specific literary niches, instead they carve their own.
In 2006 Shadow Archer Press conceived of a new publication, Fissure, a journal of experimental writing and art. Check out the Fissure page at the link above. It was slow going but in 2007, Shadow Archer Press launched the first issue which featured art, short stories, poetry and rants produced by writers and artists throughout the southeast.
The Micro Indie Press: In late summer of 2007 Shadow Archer Press restructured its chapbook and portfolio division, purchasing equipment to produce all of the publications in-house. We’ve been able to produce more than we expected during 2007, 2008 and 2009: Check out the chapbooks and portfolios page for more info on availability on our other releases: Delirium is a Disease of the Night by Richard Wink, La Morte Vivante by david mclean , Feeling Through Mirages by Felino Soriano, The Devouring Rime, by Brian K.
