ABOUT THE AUTHOR​​

    Bobby Joe Holbrook was born in Easley, SC, 1950. He served in Delta Company, 51st. Infantry as a Spec.4, from 1970 to 1971.
    In 1973, Bobby began a 41 year career as a professional wrestler (as Bobby Holbrook and with the stage name Johnny Angel) and won 16 World Titles spread out over four sanctioning bodies (a rare feat in itself). While competing in the ASWA (AWA), IWF, IWA, and SWA, he fought and tag-teamed with some of the biggest names in the sport.

    Bobby now entertains people as a karaoke DJ and resides in West Union, South Carolina, with his wife Wanda. He has and a daughter, a granddaughter, and a great grandson.​
